Come and spend your summer in Paris with Devinci Higher Education! The Summer programme is offered with two, 2-week long credit-bearing sessions for students to choose from. The programme offers a mix of Engineering or Business-specific courses, along with business and cultural visits.

Devinci Higher Education is a group of three schools:

  • EMLV: School of Business, accredited by AACSB and AMBA, offering EFMD accredited programmes.
  • ESILV: School of Engineering, CTI accredited, ranked in the top 3 nationally for PostBac degrees.
  • IIM: School of Digital Technologies, part of the Cumulus Association.

De Vinci Higher Education focuses on cross-disciplinary activities, developing Soft Skills, and projects related to Innovation and Digital Technology. It also hosts the DVRC (De Vinci Research Center), an Innovation Center, a Startup programme, an Institute of Crypto Assets, and an Executive Education programme.

    Programme Details

    Programme Themes

    Students can choose either Engineering or Business as their core course (12 hours per week), along with courses in Digital Technology (4 hours per week) and French Language & Culture (4 hours per week).

    The programme also includes business visits in Paris’s La Défense district, as well as cultural visits to monuments and museums.

    A student can register for one standalone session (2 weeks) or both sessions (4 weeks), with a 10% discount for both.


    Session 1: June 30 – July 11, 2025

    Business Core Course:

    EMLV: Design Thinking for Business

    This course explores the innovative approach of Design Thinking, helping students to solve complex business problems by focusing on customer-centric solutions and creative strategies.

    Engineering Core Course:

    ESILV: Virtual Reality

    This course introduces students to the world of Virtual Reality, providing hands-on experience with immersive technologies and their applications in engineering and beyond.

    Digital Technology:

    Week 1: Initiation to Immersive Learning

    This week focuses on the basics of immersive learning technologies, teaching students how to create engaging virtual experiences through video content and platform integration.

    • Module 1: Filming & Platform Integration: Learn how to film immersive content and integrate it into digital platforms for interactive experiences.
    • Module 2: Screenwriting Content using Video 360: Develop skills in writing scripts specifically designed for 360-degree video environments, enhancing storytelling in immersive contexts.

    Week 2: Initiation 3D

    Dive into the world of 3D design and prototyping, where students will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools.

    • Module 1: Initiation to Blender: 3D Modelling: Explore the fundamentals of 3D modelling using Blender to create detailed virtual objects and environments.
    • Module 2: FabLab: 3D Printing of the Model created with Blender: Bring your 3D creations to life by printing models using advanced 3D printing technologies at the FabLab.

    Session 2: July 15 – July 25, 2025

    Business Core Course:

    EMLV: Business in a Globalised World

    This course provides an in-depth understanding of global business dynamics, exploring international markets, global strategies, and the challenges businesses face in an interconnected world.

    Engineering Core Course:

    ESILV: Machine Learning

    This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of machine learning, with practical applications in engineering, data analysis, and predictive modelling using cutting-edge algorithms.

    Digital Technology:

    Week 3: AI – Learning Robots

    This week introduces students to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, focusing on how robots can learn and perform tasks autonomously.

    • Module 1: Robot Race: Engage in a hands-on activity where students programme robots to race, applying AI principles to improve robot performance.
    • Module 2: K-nearest neighbours algorithm: Learn about the K-nearest neighbours algorithm, a key machine learning technique used for classification and pattern recognition in AI.

    Week 4: Generative Artificial Intelligence

    Explore the cutting-edge field of generative AI, where students learn to create content using AI-driven tools.

    • Module 1: GEN AI level 1: Text to text: Discover how AI can generate human-like text responses, using natural language processing to transform input text into coherent output.
    • Module 2: GEN AI level 2: Text to image: Experiment with generative AI techniques that convert textual descriptions into visual images, pushing the boundaries of creativity with machine learning.
