This year, Le Figaro Étudiant scrutinised around a hundred engineering schools, both public and private, recruiting post-baccalaureate students and accredited by the Commission des titres d’ingénieur to award the graduate engineering degree.

To compile its ranking, Le Figaro Étudiant identified the post-baccalaureate institutions authorised to award engineering degrees. The editorial team then assessed these institutions, drawing primarily on certified data from the Commission des titres d’ingénieurs (CTI).

The editorial team drew on CTI data, comparing institutions based on their academic excellence (research, dual degrees, standards of integrated programmes), international reach (international rankings, study abroad opportunities, proportion of graduates working abroad, etc.) and their links with industry (salaries, alumni networks).

To help students choose their engineering school, Le Figaro Étudiant offers four separate rankings: Post-baccalaureate, Post-preparatory, Computer Science and Biology.
