Alongside your engineering studies at ESILV, you will take courses at the EMLV – Léonard de Vinci School of Management. Over the course of five years, you will progressively build a dual curriculum in engineering and management.
This dual curriculum is open to first-year engineering students at ESILV (Paris La Défense campus) holding a French general baccalauréat. After five years, graduates will obtain both the ESILV engineering degree and the EMLV Master in Management (granted with master’s level accreditation).
The Engineer-Manager programme includes on average 90 to 120 hours of management training per year, spread over five years and integrated into the engineering curriculum. This volume includes EMLV courses specific to the dual degree, and excludes transversal modules (English, communication, project management, etc.) followed in multidisciplinary groups.
Each year allows students to validate between 10 and 14 ECTS credits in management, leading to a total of over 60 ECTS by the end of the curriculum. Credits are earned through continuous assessment, active participation, project work and the final-year thesis. Some technical subjects common to both schools (e.g. financial management, statistics or digital tools) are mutually recognised in the academic framework of the dual degree.
Post-Baccalaureate Admission (via Parcoursup): via the Concours Avenir, selection based on academic record and motivation letter.
The Engineer-Manager programme is structured over five years, in parallel with the ESILV engineering curriculum. Each year builds progressively on management, finance, marketing, law and soft skills. The courses follow a cumulative logic, from foundational knowledge to master-level specialisations.
