The Campus du Parc will welcome students in September 2026 in Paris La Défense, close to the school’s other sites. This 18,000 m² project combines the renovation of an existing building, environmental requirements and new spaces dedicated to ESILV training courses.
Located close to the RER A and RER E (Nanterre La Folie) train stations and André Malraux Park, the Campus du Parc supports the development of ESILV’s training programmes.

A new campus to support ESILV’s development
Located on a site covering approximately one hectare, the Parc Campus has a total surface area of 18,000 m². The architectural firm ITS is responsible for the building’s design, while Colliers is working on the interior fittings. The project is being developed by Eiffage Immobilier and carried out by Eiffage Construction.
The main construction work is scheduled for completion in early 2026. The interior design work – furniture, layout and decoration – will continue into the second quarter of 2026. The teams are scheduled to move in in June 2026, with students arriving for the start of the academic year in September.

The Parc du Pôle Léonard de Vinci campus in Paris La Défense
A site marked by the architectural history of Nanterre
The Parc campus is housed in the buildings of the former Nanterre School of Architecture, which closed nearly twenty years ago. Designed by Jacques Kalisz and Roger Salem, this complex is an example of the modular metal architecture characteristic of the 1970s.
The project retains around 40% of the original structure. The extension combines steel, wood and concrete to blend heritage restoration with contemporary construction.
Awarded following a call for tenders launched in 2018 by the Greater Paris Metropolitan Authority, the site now has a new purpose dedicated to higher education.

Infrastructure designed for training ESILV engineers
The building can accommodate up to 4,500 students at a time, for a total estimated enrolment of between 6,000 and 7,000.
The campus has 87 classrooms with 35 to 44 seats. Some can be grouped into modules of three to accommodate around 120 people. Two lecture theatres with 300 and 200 seats can also be joined together using a movable partition. Each seat is equipped with electrical outlets and the entire facility has comprehensive audiovisual equipment.

Eight soundproofed teaching studios complete the educational facilities. The campus also includes a Fablab, laboratories, studios, a Techroom and a Learning Centre.
Student living spaces play an important role: cafeteria, sports hall including a dojo, weight room and dance studio, relaxation areas spread across the floors, terraces and outdoor green spaces.
The general layout of the building is centred around a central Agora, a space covered by a transparent roof equipped with a thermal regulation system that adjusts to the amount of sunlight.
A project mindful of environmental issues
The Campus du Parc incorporates photovoltaic panels designed to cover part of its electricity needs. The building is connected to the urban heating and cooling network. The design also favours natural ventilation and the use of bamboo sunshades, developed in collaboration with a thermal engineering firm.
The project has been awarded the Bâtiments Durables Franciliens (Sustainable Buildings in the Paris Region) certification (silver level) as well as the E3C1 label for new buildings and the BBCA Rénovation label for the renovated parts.

The landscaping features abundant vegetation, a wide variety of plant species and large areas of open ground, in keeping with the neighbouring André Malraux Park.
The Parc Campus thus constitutes a new academic environment designed to support the development of ESILV’s engineering programmes.
