PIXs are scientific and technical projects designed to help students progress over the years. The aim of PIX2, in the second year of the engineering course, is to design and produce an innovative product.
The Class of 2026 designed and built an electro-mechanical system around the theme of learning, education and rehabilitation.
The Class of 2025 designed and built an autonomous musical object that mechanically produces 5 sounds and is controlled electronically.
For the first time, the students worked in teams of two, with each team carrying out the project designed by the other.
Making an intelligent, non-connected object, using at least 2 sensors and an arduino board, to address a problem related to sport and/or disability.
In 2017-2018, the engineering students in the class of 2021 were asked to design an educational electronic game for children under the age of 7.
The 2017 theme of the project was the design of a 4C campus: communicative, creative, collaborative, and connected. A theme as close as possible to students’ everyday lives, on the Pôle Léonard de Vinci campus in Paris-La Défense.
The 2016 theme of the PIX2 project at ESILV was the Smart City.
